McKenzie, Tenn.–The McKenzie Rebels baseball team defeated University School of Johnson City to advance to play East Robertson today in the TSSAA state tournament.
On Wednesday, they lost a close game to East Robertson 6 to 5. That meant they had to come back later in the afternoon to play Bradford. Loser would be eliminated from the tournament.
McKenzie defeated Bradford and will play East Robertson Thursday at 2 PM. They will have to beat East Robertson twice to continue in the tournament.
