Union Volleyball Announces 2023 Signing Class

JACKSON, Tenn. – The Union University volleyball team announced its signing class for the 2023 season. Hope Harrington (Spokane, Wash.), Ashley Pruitt (Memphis, Tenn.), Cortlynn Rose (Lawrenceburg, Tenn.), Dylan Tolliver (Franklin, Tenn.), Jordan Moore (Atoka, Tenn.), and Vanja Stefanovic (Belgrade, Serbia) join Union this fall.

Harrington, a 6-foot junior, prepped at East Valley High School in Spokane, Wash., where she played four years of volleyball and did four years of track and field. She was named Volleyball MVP for her junior and senior years of high school and Volleyball First Team All-League for her junior and senior years. She continued her career at St. Johns River State College in Orange Park, Fla., where she made the All-Tournament team and was listed at number eight in the top 10 stat leaders for blocks per set (.82) and top 10 for hitting percentage (.217). During her sophomore year of college, she was named Second Team/North Division All-Conference, All-FCSAA, NJCAA All-Region 8, and Region 8 player of the week (3.2 kill per set, %-.441).

Pruitt, a 5-foot-8 freshman, prepped at Briarcrest Christian High School (Eads, Tenn.) where she was part of four Tennessee State Volleyball Championships. She played nine years of volleyball and ran track for one year. She was captain of the volleyball team during her junior and senior years of high school. She was part of the 2022 AVCA All-America Watch List and was named AVCA Player of the Week for Tennessee, Commercial Appeal Volleyball Athlete of the Year finalist, and Daily Memphian Volleyball Athlete of the Year finalist last year.

Rose, a 5-foot-9 freshman, prepped at Lawrence County High School where she played four years of volleyball. She helped lead her team to a district championship twice, Region championship once, and TSSAA elite eight once. She was a two-time All-season and All-tournament player, district MVP and region MVP once each.

Tolliver, a 5-foot-10 freshman, prepped at Grace Christian Academy where she played four years of volleyball and earned All-District as Libero. She also earned an All-Star selection in club volleyball.

Moore, a 5-foot-11 junior, prepped at Munford High School where she played volleyball for four years while also playing for the Memphis Metro Club Volleyball team for five years. Following her time in high school, Moore played at Walters State Community College for two years where she was recognized as a NJCAA Honorable mention All-American, Region 7 Player of the Year, and was named to the All-Region 7 team. She recorded 226 kills with an average of 2.97 kills per set and 3.28 kills per set in region play. She was the third highest in the region for both categories. Moore also recorded 73 blocks in the 2022 season.

Stefanovic, a 5-foot-10 junior, prepped at High School of Tourism and her club volleyball team Blok Aut where she played 10 years. She recorded a first-place finish in the International Tournament of Novi Sad, a first-place finish in the Regional League, and fifth-place finish in the National Championship of Serbia. After high school, Stefanovic attended Garden City Community College for her freshman season. She transferred to play at Monroe College for her sophomore year where she helped her team win the NJCAA National Championship in 2022.
