MARTIN, Tenn. – Standout University of Tennessee at Martin defensive end Daylan Dotson has been named to the prestigious 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List.
The Reese’s Senior Bowl is the nation’s most prestigious college all-star game and it annually serves as the first step in the NFL Draft Process. The 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl will be played on Feb. 3 in Mobile, Ala. and broadcast on the NFL Network.
The 11th Annual Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List seeks to identify the “best of the best” draft prospects at every level of college football for the 2024 NFL Draft. All 720 position players (non-specialists) who made the list were evaluated by the Senior Bowl staff and tape-based grades were logged.
Dotson is one of only 50 FCS players named to the list while ranking as one of three members from the Big South-OVC Football Association – joining Gardner-Webb’s Ty French and Southeast Missouri’s Ryan Flournoy.
A native of Savannah, Ga., Dotson enters his fourth season with the Skyhawks after appearing in 28 games since the shortened 2020 campaign. The 6-3 defensive end broke out in 2022, tallying 48 total tackles while leading the OVC with 14.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks. He also tallied five forced fumbles while adding two fumble recoveries – including one returned for a touchdown.
