JACKSON, Tenn. – Lane College Director of Athletics Derrick Burroughs has announced a schedule change ahead of the Dragons week one matchup with Miles College.
“Due to the weather forecast, we are moving kickoff to 6:00 PM,” stated Burroughs. “The game will still take place at Crump Stadium in Memphis on Saturday, September 2nd. We put our player’s safety first and foremost, and for that reason, we will be adjusting the time for the Bluff City Classic.”
Meteorologists are calling for the heat index to be over 100 degrees during the originally scheduled start time.
