JACKSON, Tenn.—Union University’s Gray Campbell was named the Gulf South Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week, and Trace Robinson was selected GSC Men’s Freshman of the Week. This is Campbell’s first GSC Golfer of the Week honor, as well as Robinson’s first GSC Freshman of the Week honor.
Campbell, a 5-foot-8 junior from Humboldt, Tenn., won his first collegiate tournament with a medalist finish at the Full Moon Invitational this week hosted by the University of Montevallo. He posted scores of 65 and 69 for a two-round total of 134, 8-under par.
Robinson, a 6-foot freshman from Jackson, Tenn., finished T4 and 1-under par with an overall score of 141 (71, 70) in the Full Moon Invitational.
