Covington 42, Fairley 38 (Thursday)

– In a wild back and forth affair, the Chargers scored with 19 seconds left to pull out a nail-bighter over Fairley on the road.

Adamsville 28, Jackson Central-Merry 6

Bolivar Central 22, McNairy Central 20

– Carson Howell racked up 304 total yards and 3 total TDs as Bolivar snapped a 3-game losing streak with a region win over McNairy Central. Jackson Overton led the Bobcats with 2 TDs.

Camden 59, Gibson County 46

– Camden snapped a 2-game skid by outlasting the Pioneers in a high scoring Region 6-2A matchup. The Lions racked up a new school record 629 yards of total offense, including 520 rushing yards which was good for 2nd in school history. Issac Moore threw for 109 yards, while rushing for 287 yards and 5 TDs. Gage Lee added 117 yards on the ground and Jaylen Boggs racked up 185 All-Purpose yards.

Dresden 28, Obion County 14

– Dresden remained unbeaten by beating the Rebels for the first time in their last 3 tries. Tristan Jett rushed for 107 yards and 2 TDs, while Cam Schlicht accounted for 141 total yards and 2 TDs as the Lions improved to 6-0 for the 2nd straight season. Hamilton May led Obion County with 233 total yards and a pair of TD runs.

Dyer County 19, Crockett County 17

– Trailing by 10 with 4:15 to play, the Choctaws managed to find a way to stun Crockett County on the road. Dyer County managed to drive 90 yards in 34 seconds with no timeouts to come away with the miraculous victory.

Hardin County 21, PURE Academy 14

– 3 passing TDs from Carter Smith was just enough for Hardin County to remain unbeaten and defeat their visitors from Memphis.

Haywood 42, Maplewood 0

Henry County 52, Clarksville Northeast 14

– The Patriots continued to roll as they picked up a big region win. Caden Marshall threw for 3 TDs, and 4 different Patriots scored on the ground.

Huntingdon 32, Milan 14

– The Mustangs handed rival Milan its first loss of the season behind a trademark rushing performance and earned a key region win in the process . Gray Eubanks rushed for 123 yards and 3 TDs, while Ashton Hutcherson rushed for 131 yards and another score 1 TD. Jayden Peete led Milan with 124 yards and 2 TDs.

Jackson Christian 41, Tipton-Rosemark 0

– The Eagle offense continued to hum right along as Austin Kelly threw for 286 yards in a road rout of the previously unbeaten Rebels.

– Trailing by 9 at halftime, the Panthers rallied to narrowly knock off Trinity. Stone Wallace rushed for 148 yards and 2 TDs, while Kaleb Mays scored 2 more TDs.

Scotts Hill 41, Liberty 14

South Fulton 54, Gleason 14

– South Fulton emphatically snapped a 3-game skid by crushing Gleason at home. The Red Devils limited the visitors to 124 total yards on the night, and thoroughly dominated from the opening kick. Dallas Whitehead rushed for 178 yards and 5 TDs, while Brady McFarland rushed for 112 yards with 2 TDs, and threw for 95 yards and another score.

South Gibson 35, Chester County 28 (4OT)

Union City 42, Greenfield 9

– The Golden Tornadoes got contributions from multiple backs to guide them to their 4th straight win. Union City plays Dresden at home next week in a huge Region 7-1A matchup. Jacob Arnold rushed for 89 yards and 2 TDs, while Teyhari Jones added 68 yards and 2 more scores.
