Fresh off winning Monday’s District 14A Golf Championship at Persimmon Hills Golf Course in Sharon, the Westview Chargers Boys Golf Team followed up that strong performance by taking home the Region 7A Title Wednesday, and clinching a berth at the State Tournament in the process. The Chargers shot a team total of 330, led by Ethan Hatler’s 78, which was good for a 2nd place medalist showing at the Tennessee River Club in Decaturville. The Chargers now turn their attention to next month’s Class A State Tournament, held at Sevierville Golf Club’s River Course on October 12 and 13.
