JACKSON, Tenn.—On Sep. 30th, the Union University volleyball team lost to Auburn University at Montgomery 3-0 (15-25, 12-25, 17-25). Union’s record drops to 3-14 overall (2-3 GSC) while AUM improves to 13-4 overall (3-2 GSC).
Vanja Stefanovic led Union with seven kills, while Chloe Steen had four and Jordan Moore had three. Stefanovic also had a .500 hitting percentage and an ace. Hope Harrington had the most blocks with four, followed by Moore with three. Ashley Pruitt led in assists with 10, and Davey Slaughter led in digs with nine. Gracie Tacker had five assists and an ace.
Next up for the Lady Bulldogs is a home game against the University of West Georgia on Oct. 6 at 6:00 p.m.
