Union Volleyball Falls to West Florida

JACKSON, Tenn. – Union faced off versus their first nationally ranked opponent Friday evening in Pensacola, Florida by a score of 3-1 (19-25, 25-19, 21-25, 9-25).  Union’s record falls to 3-13 overall (2-2 GSC) while #16 West Florida improves to 10-4 overall (4-0 GSC).

Jordan Moore played an efficient game, earning 6 kills on 14 attempts for a team best .357 hitting percentage. Moore also added a team best 5 total blocks (1 solo). Reese Owens led the team in kills (9). Gracie Tacker led all Lady Bulldogs in assist with 16. Marie Torosian and Reese Owens tied for a team best 10 digs.

Union’s next matchup will be tomorrow (September 30th, 2023) on the road in Montgomery, Alabama for an in-conference matchup with Auburn Montgomery
