JACKSON, Tenn. – Union drop home conference contest to Valdosta State by a score of 3-0 (30-28, 25-15, 25-16). Union’s record falls to 3-16 overall (2-5 GSC). Valdosta State improves to 13-6 overall (5-2 GSC).
Valdosta State is now in a three-way tie with Alabama Huntsville and Mississippi College for #2 in the GSC rankings. Union currently sits in 9th place in the GSC.
Jordan Moore lead Union in hitting percentage (.500) and total blocks (3). Vanja Stefanovic lead Union is kills with 11. Gracie Tacker racked up a team best in assist (19). Davey Slaughter ended her day leading Union in digs with 12.
Union’s will look to salvage a conference win on the road versus Montevallo on October 13th.
