– Issac Moore rushed for a school record 381 yards and 4 touchdowns as the Lions held off a late War Eagle rally to snap West Carroll’s 4 game win streak. Jayden Milton led the West Carroll attack with 166 rushing yards and 2 TDs, while Zach Fowler threw for 162 yards and 2 other scores.

Jackson Christian 56, Lake County 16

– Jackson Christian kept its historic start to the season perfect behind a familiar formula: the Austin Kelly to Jay’Len Mosley connection. Kelly threw for 196 yards and 5 scores, 119 of which went to Mosley including 3 touchdowns. Deuce Lawrence added 97 yards and another score for the high flying Eagles.

Lausanne 28, Munford 15

McNairy Central 47, Liberty 0

– McNairy Central got big performances from Jackson Overton and Ezekiel House-Waycaster en route to a big regional thrashing on the road.

Milan 49, Trezevant 0

– Brennan Hudson rushed for 2 scores and Will Johnson threw for 2 more as Milan picked up a convincing win. The Bulldog defense limited the visitors to just 74 total yards on the night.

Trinity Christian 56, FACS 35

– Lekhy Thompkins did it all for the Lions in a big region win in Memphis. Thompkins accounted for 5 total touchdowns (3 rushing/2 recieving) and rushed for 348 yards on the evening. Cooper Vailes aided the cause by throwing for 5 scores on the evening.

Union City 68, Halls 3

– In a big bounce back performance, Union City outgained Halls 588-61 to get back into the win column with a Senior Night win. Keaton Brown rushed for 176 yards,  4 touchdowns and threw for another, while Jacob Arnold added 176 yards and 2 more scores. DJ Evans and Aiden Reid both were in on 7 stops to lead a swarming Union City performance.

USJ 49, ECS 14

– Noah Spencer powered the Bruins to a big region win with a big performance on both sides of the ball. Spencer rushed for 293 yards and 4 TDs, caught another score, and picked off a pass on defense. Corbin Howard threw for 157 yards and 2 more scores, as the Bruins roared to a huge win on the night of program legend Trey Smith’s jersey retirement.
