JACKSON, Tenn. – Union drops final game of their fall 2023 season to Lee University. The Bulldogs finish with a record of 3-10-2 overall (1-9-1 GSC) and Lee finishes with a record of 8-5-3 overall (5-4-2 GSC).
Lee got off to a hot start with a goal in the 5′. Following the early goal Union’s Hunter Santoscoy scored the equalizer in the 45′ just before halftime. Jacob Blue was tagged with the assist on the goal. In the second half, Lee would pull away, scoring goals in the 70′ and 74′ to take down the Bulldogs. Union was able to shoot 4 shots on goal (Alpay Altuntas 1, Ashanie Kennedy 2, Jacob Blue 1). Lee was able to record 12 shots on goal against the Union defense. Botond Nemeth was able to secure 8 saves in the loss.
Union finishes their season in 11th place in the GSC rankings.
