UT Martin Men’s Cross Country Finishes Season at NCAA South Regional Championships

GAINESVILLE, Fla.- The University of Tennessee at Martin men’s cross country team ended their campaign at the NCAA South Regional Championship with multiple personal record performances.

The race served as the lone 10K of the season for the Skyhawks who competed against the likes of Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Ole Miss, Florida, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Vanderbilt and Miami (Fla.).

All-Ohio Valley Conference second-teamer Luke Johnson led the Skyhawks with a 31:20.2 which beat his previous PR by 53.2 seconds. All-OVC first-teamer Sam Shuman had a strong finish to his season, smashing his 10K PR with a 31:41.3 (former PR was 34:11.9).

Junior Hudson Hall performed well in his first 10K of his collegiate career with a 31:59.5, while Brady Millikin ended his 2023 season with a solid finish of 33:09.9. Freshman Angus Monro finished in the scoring-five for the second consecutive race, crossing the finish line at the 32:25.4 mark.
