UT Martin Soccer’s Catey Hunt Named to Uniter Soccer Coaches All-Region Team

MARTIN, Tenn.- The United Soccer Coaches released their All-Region teams and University of Tennessee at Martin standout Catey Hunt garnered third team all-region honors.

 

The McDonough, Ga. native had a career year in her final campaign as a Skyhawk. Hunt was named to the Ohio Valley Conference first team for the first time in her career as she led the conference in game-winning goals with three. The graduate also contributed to four shutouts during the regular season for her squad.

 

Hunt started all 19 matches while totaling a career-high 1,707 minutes. She closes out her UT Martin career ranking third all-time in program history in matches started and set a school record for most OVC Defensive Player of the Week awards in one season (three).

 

The United Soccer Coaches was founded in 1941 and is based in Kansas City, Mo. The organizations has grown into the world’s largest soccer coaches’ organization that serves members at every level of the game.
