Lane College Men’s Basketball Picks Up Big Conference Win Over Fort Valley State

JACKSON, Tenn. – Leading by just one point with 4:55 to go in the game, the Lane College men’s basketball team rattled off a 15-5 run to end the game and secure an 11 point victory over conference foe Fort Valley State.

The win moves the Dragons to 3-1 in conference play for the year.

Senior transfer Darell Johnson did what he has done all season: lead the team in scoring. The post player finished with 22 points and pulled down eight rebounds.

Julian Eziukwu came off the bench to add 12 points for Lane while Kyle Houston added 11 points

Myson Lowe led Fort Valley State with 21 points while Khadim Samb had a game-high 12 rebounds.

Lane will have the rest of the week off before hosting Talladega College next Tuesday, December 12th, at J.F. Lane Gymnasium. Game time is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
