
JACKSON, Tenn. – Union’s Jordan Pyke earns his second GSC Freshman of the Week honor for his impressive week highlighted by his double-double recorded on the road versus #16 West Georgia.
This past week Union’s Men’s Basketball program competed in three games (Delta State University, Lindsey Wilson College, #16 University of West Georgia) in which Pyke averaged 14.7 points per game, and 7.7 rebounds per game. The Freshman forward also added six assists, five steals, and two blocks to his impressive week. Pyke saw an uptick in time on the court during the Bulldog’s contest with #16 West Georgia, staying on the floor for 36 minutes.
In Carrollton, Pyke recorded a double-double and set season highs in points (29), three-pointers made (3), rebounds (15), and assists (2). Jordan accounted for nearly half of the Bulldog’s point total in the contest.
Union will look to record their first conference win of the young season on December 8th versus Christian Brothers University. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 in the Fred DeLay Gymnasium.
