
JACKSON, Tenn. – The Lane College women’s basketball team played their first game of 2024 on Thursday night as they played host to Edward Waters University inside JF Lane Gymnasium.
Brailyn Tate registered a double-double in the win, scoring 19 points and pulling down 13 rebounds.
Twelve different players scored for Dragons as the hosts shot an efficient 41% from the field.
The depth of the Lane bench proved to be the difference in the game as the Dragons’ reserves outscored the visitors 23-13 in that category.
Lane will be at home again on Saturday, January 6th, when they host Savannah State. Tipoff is scheduled is for 2:00 PM.
