Hollingsworth leaves Lexington football after 21 years

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — One of the more revered high school football coaches in all of West Tennessee has announced his departure from his longstanding position at Lexington High School effective Monday, January 29.

Bryant Hollingsworth has made the decision to step down as head football coach of the Tigers after a total of 21 years with the program. Hollingsworth spent several years on staff in Big Red County before earning the title of head coach in 2008. During his time leading the Tigers, Hollingsworth compiled a record of 122-61, reaching the TSSAA state semifinals in 2010 and 2020.
