
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Following the best performance of her young career, University of Tennessee at Martin women’s basketball forward Norah Clark was named both Ohio Valley Conference Player and Freshman of the Week
A native of Springfield, Mo., Clark poured in 20 points per game while shooting over 50 percent from the field as the Skyhawks recorded a pair of double-digit road victories for the week. Her final stats over the two games including 20.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 51.9 percent from the field and 9-of-9 from the charity stripe.
Clark began her big week with 11 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals in a road victory over Eastern Illinois. Then two days later, she exploded for career-highs of 29 points and nine rebounds in a 29-point victory at SIUE.
This marks the first OVC Player of the Week for the newcomer while notching the second OVC Freshman of the Week selection.
