
JACKSON, Tenn. – Henderson State University edges Union by a final score of 11-7 in midweek battle. Union’s record falls to 7-9 overall (2-4 GSC) while HSU’s record improves to 9-7 overall.
Scotty Wyatt got the start got the start for the Bulldogs, tossing four innings and allowing two earned runs. Following the fourth inning, the Bulldogs used six different Bulldogs (Sam Galbraith, Jack Rasmussen, Cody Tjomsland, Ethan Orwig, Ryan Evans, Jamal Allen). Union ended the game allowing 11 runs on 10 hits and two errors.
Five different Bulldogs collected a multi-hit game (Jake Keyl, Alec Hardy, Caden Cuttrell, Matthew Autry, Elijah Ramsey). Elijah Ramsey, John Wheeler, and Colby Davis all hit a double in the midweek loss. Jake Keyl picked up the lone Union stolen base.
