
JACKSON, Tenn. – The Union University women’s golf team finished fourth in the The Arkansas Collegiate, which was played Mar. 11-12 at the Mystic Creek Golf Club in El Dorado, Ark. The two-round tournament was hosted by Southern Arkansas University and featured seven teams and 40 golfers.
Brooklyn Verdugo was Union’s top golfer, as she T10 (80, 82). Camille Burnette finished 14th (90, 75). McKinnley Korte T22 (86, 85). Aubrie Cagle placed 32nd (92, 88), and Olivia Carroll finished 33rd (95, 90).
Cecily Berry, playing as an individual, finished 21st (79, 91).
Union shot a two-round total of 863. Henderson State won the tournament, while Harding University finished second, Christian Brothers University third, Southern Arkansas University fifth, Arkansas-Monticello sixth, and Southeastern Oklahoma seventh.
