ATLANTA – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced weekly honors for softball and Jersey Cabana was named Softball Pitcher of the Week.
SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Jersey Cabana, Lane College
#56 | Pitcher | Sophomore | San Dimas, CA
Cabana went 2-1 on the week, throwing three complete games including two against Tuskegee. She allowed just one earned run in 22.0 innings pitched overall with 27 strikeouts and only two walks. In her two conference appearances, she pitched 14.0 innings against the Golden Tigers, allowing no earned runs and striking out 15 batters. Her lone loss came to Tuskegee, 1-0 with the Tigers scoring an unearned run in the victory.
