SAVANNAH, Tenn. — One day before teams all across the state take the diamond for the sectional round, one school in West Tennessee will officially begin their search for a new head baseball coach.
According to the Hardin County High School athletic department, Chad Harville announced that he will not be returning as head baseball coach for the 2025 season. This year, Harville led the Tigers to a District 12-3A championship appearance and was one win away from an appearance in the Class 3A sectional.
“We want to thank Coach Harville for all that he has meant to the Hardin County baseball program as both a player and head coach, the positive impact he has had on countless student-athletes and co-workers, and we look forward to his continued service and support of our school, community, and athletic department,” said Hardin County athletic director Matthew Smith.
Harville concludes his time at Hardin County after six seasons with the baseball program.
