DYER, Tenn. — Gibson County High School has found their next head football coach in Kyle Pack. A former player at Gibson County, Pack makes his way back to Dyer after serving the past seven years as the head football coach at Martin Middle School.

“I’m very excited to be home again,” said Pack. “It’s surreal coming back to be the head coach of the program I grew up in. I’m very much looking forward to growing the program, but more importantly, helping grow the young men in it.”

Pack graduated from Gibson County in 2000 and was an assistant coach with the Pioneer program from 2012-2015.

“I know it’s pretty cool for Kyle and his boys that he is back at the place where this all started for him,” said Gibson County athletic director Michael Wickersham. “Not only did we get a great guy and a great coach in here, we got a man that has a vested interest in this school, the football program and this community. We know our football program is in good hands with Coach Pack. We can’t wait to watch them grow as men and learn life skills through football, under his leadership.”
