Jackson, Tenn. –  Tuesday night a truly-delighted crowd of over 3,000 watched the Rockford Peaches defeat the Racine Belles 13-8 in a seven-inning magical contest.  From the Opening Act where both teams of over 45 ladies sang the famous song ( “Batter Up”) from the movie “League Of Their Own” to great well-played action on the field to the “No Crying in Baseball “scene— all contributed to a wonderful entertaining night at Rockabillys Stadium.
“Without a doubt, this event was remarkable– from the engagement of the ladies who registered to try out, to the ones who comprised both teams, their workouts  and dedication to have over 25 travel from 12 states and Canada to Jackson to be a part of this, to the playing of the game, this was truly a magical night,” noted Rockabillys President/GM Dennis Bastien–” Definitely a First Annual”
The Rockabillys return home tonight to take on the Alton (IL) River Dragons at 7:00 where fans will be a part of “I Always Wanted To Bet On a Baseball Game” Night (form attached below)- predicting the full line score prior to the game, courtesy of Great American Sports and 101.5 Cheap Seats.
