
UNION CITY, Tenn. — Woodrow McKinnis earned fourth place out of 94 in competitors at the Dresden meet on Tuesday, demonstrating Union City’s promising prospects ahead of the upcoming season. According to School Communications Director Mike Hutchens, McKinnis completed the 2.5-mile course in 14:10. His teammate, Rushdon Howell, finished in 12th place with a time of 15:10, securing a medal as well.
In the girls’ division, freshmen Ainsley Sadler and Ainsley Beard achieved Top 12 finishes among 58 participants. Sadler placed eighth with a time of 18:56, while Beard took 12th with a time of 19:13.
The event featured 17 teams in total. Union City will kick off its official season with a meet in Milan next Tuesday.
