JACKSON, Tenn. – The Lane College volleyball team kicked off their 2024 campaign this weekend when they hosted the 3rd Annual Dragons Classic at JF Lane Gymnasium.
Head Coach Alexis Emanuel and the team picked up their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Harris Stowe.
Newcomer Kristina Lichtenhan led the team in kills with nine, followed by Kyra Gaston who picked up eight.
Assists were distributed evenly in game one as both Syraia Harvey and Shaniah Jones registered 12 each.
Anayah Goss led the way on the back line, picking up a game-high 22 digs for the Dragons.
Lane will be at home again on Monday, September 9th, when they host Henderson State Univeristy. Game time is set for 6:30 PM.
