UT Martin Track Teams Post New Personal Bests At Music City Challenge

NASHVILLE, Tenn.– The University of Tennessee at Martin track and field team set a flurry of personal bests and battled to several quality finishes during its performance at the Music City Challenge.
Top Performers
  • Freshman Eliana Oquendo finished with a PR (1:37.24) and fifth place in the 600m while racing to another PR in the 400m (57.96).
  • Angus Monro clocked a time of 1:53.43 which led him to a seventh place finish in the 800m.
  • Maggie Roy crossed the finish line in the 800m with a fifth place finish and a new personal best of 2:14.31.
  • Brady Millikin ran his way to a PR (8:31.09) and 13th place during the 3k.
  • Rita Eimer finished just behind her teammate Roy in the 800m, crossing the finish line in sixth place with a time of 2:14.54.
  • Chadwick Stewart clocked a quality time of 22.04 in the 200m.
  • Samir Smith achieved a strong performance in the 200m with a 22.47
  • David Stukey nailed a new PR in the mile race, crossing the finish line with a 4:09.89.
  • Alaina Gordon put together two impressive outings in the 200m (25.78) and the 60m (7.84, PR).
  • Keagan Enicks ran a new PR of 14:55.62 during the 5k.
Next up the Skyhawks travel to Cape Girardeau, Mo. on Friday, Feb. 21 for the Redhawks Open.
