For the first time in 19 years, the Milan Bulldog Baseball Team will play for a state title. The Bulldogs rallied from an early 4-0 hole to defeat Sweetwater 7-6 and advance from the winner’s bracket into Friday’s Class 2A final, where Milan will take on Union County at 1 PM as they seek their first baseball title since 2004.
Grayson Stuckey drove in 3 runs for the victors, while Kasen Yates pitched 4.1 innings of relief allowing just 2 hits, and striking out 4.
