Sometimes the toughest losses can motivate teams to the best of wins later. That will be the hope for the Jackson Christian Lady Eagle Softball program after a season ending 2-1 defeat to Columbia Academy on Thursday at the Division II-A State Tournament. In making their 3rd straight trip to Murfreesboro, the Lady Eagles believed it was their time, but it was not to be in 2023. A 3rd straight disappointment in the State Tournament does not spoil an impressive 21-14 campaign, but surely will serve as motivation to push the Lady Eagles to the pinnacle in future seasons.
