Football can never replace the importance of family. Nobody knows this more than Tyler Reeder who resigned from his post as Head Football Coach at Jackson South Side last week, citing his desire to spend more time with his wife and 2 sons.

Reeder leaves after posting an overall mark of 34-50 across 7 full seasons, and part of another as the interim. He guided the Hawks to 6 playoff appearances, including 4 Region Runner-Up finishes, a State Quarter-Final in 2017, and a 10-2 record in 2018.

Jackson-Madison County Schools is currently accepting applications for the position, and hopes to fill it in the coming weeks.
