After nearly a month long search following the resignation of Shane Kemp , Henry County High School Athletic Director Steve Summers has found his new baseball coach. He didn’t have to look far. On Wednesday morning, Summers announced the promotion of Curtis Copeland to head coach. Copeland served as an assistant coach on last year’s squad that finished 19-20 with a loss to Clarksville in the Region 7-4A Tournament. Copeland brings over 16 years of coaching experience with high school and college players to his new role as the Patriots look to build off of last year’s campaign in 2024. Summers said information regarding tryouts will be posted soon.
