Fall sports are in full swing at Westview High School, as the Lady Charger Volleyball Team, the Golf Team, and Cross Country Teams put on strong performances this week.
The Lady Chargers posted a 3-0 sweep of South Fulton in Volleyball action.
The Westview Golf team improved their early season mark to 7-0 after defeating Gibson County and McKenzie at Persimmon Hills Golf Course. Connor Newsom took home medalist honors with a 2-under 35, with Luke Stephenson coming close behind with a 38.
The Westview Cross Country squads put on strong performances at a preseason jamboree held in McKenzie. Halle Trevathan and Jack Mantooth each finished 3rd in their respective divisions, with Josiah Klutts finishing 13th for the Chargers.
