– 200 yards on the ground by Jake Saunders led the way for the Tigers as they throttled their visitors from Memphis en route to a 4-0 start.

Jackson North Side 18, Lexington 17

– North Side trailed 17-6 early in the 4th quarter, but 2 TDs by Javonte Smith and a fumble recovery led the Indians to a comeback win over Lexington in their region opener.

Lake County 52, South Fulton 44

– In a back and forth shootout, it was Falcons outlasting the Red Devils to earn their first win of the season. In a game featuring nearly 800 combined yards of offense, it was only fitting that Calvin Mullins landed the decisive blow with 24 seconds left. Mullins powered Lake County with 346 yards rushing and 6 TDs. Brady McFarland led South Fulton with 220 total yards, and 5 total TDs.

Milan 62, Camden 25

– After a tight first 12 minutes, the Bulldogs overwhelmed the Lions 34-7 in the 2nd quarter to rout Camden on the road and remain unbeaten on the season. The Bulldog offense was unstoppable, racking up 532 total yards on the night (273 rushing, 259 passing). Will Johnson threw 3 TDs, while Jayden Peete rushed for 2 more. Jaylen Boggs led Camden with 89 rushing yards and a TD.

Obion County 49, Fulton County (KY) 0

– The Rebels scores 35 straight points in the first quarter and never looked back as they rolled to a homecoming win and maintained their best start since 2011. Hamilton May threw for 3 TDs on 113 passing yards, Tucker Moore rushed 99 yards and score, while Bryson Underwood jump started things with a 73 yard interception return for a TD.

Riverside 57, Gibson County 12

– The Panthers continued to roll as they racked up nearly 500 yards of total offense in the win over the Pioneers. Stone Wallace threw for 3 scores, while Parker Wilks added 2 more on the ground.

Trinity Christian 64, Fayette Academy 41

– TCA held off Fayette Academy in a wild high-scoring affair that featured 997 yards of total offense between the teams and 105 points.

– The Bulldogs jumped out to an early 6-0 lead, but after that it was all Union City. The Golden Tornadoes scored on 7 different runs of 20+ yards to rout Gleason in their region opener. Teyhari Jones led the way with 127 yards and 3 TDs.

West Carroll 47, Perry County 14

– Jayden Milton had another big night, rushing for 230 yards and 5 scores to power the War Eagles to a big region win.

Westview 42, Liberty 6

– The Chargers dominated their 2nd region opponent of the season behind a stellar defensive effort, allowing Liberty to gain just 2 first downs and 65 total yards. Miles Vincent led the offense with 4 TD passes and 156 yards.
