MARTIN, Tenn. – Coming off the program’s third consecutive conference championship, the University of Tennessee at Martin football program saw its name climb once again in the weekly national polls. The Skyhawks enter the final week of the regular season ranked No. 13 in the AFCA Coaches’ Poll and No. 19 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25.

The Skyhawks are ranked for the seventh consecutive week while possessing an 8-2 overall record. UT Martin clinched at least a share of the program’s third straight conference title with a 5-1 record in the Big South-OVC Football Association. The Skyhawks are now just the sixth school in OVC history to win at least three consecutive titles.

UT Martin is one of few schools nationally with wins over four different conferences – picking up victories against programs from the Big South-OVC, Missouri Valley Football Conference, Southland and United Athletic Conference. Holding a record of 8-1 against FCS foes, the Skyhawks possess the 10th toughest strength of schedule in the nation.
