– Union City took a 14-7 lead late in the 2nd quarter on a leaping Keaten Brown Touchdown, but from there it was all Lions. Cameron Schlicht and Tristan Jett powered Dresden to a 27-0 run to finish the game and return to the semi finals for the first time since 2016, when the Lions won their first state title. Schlicht rushed for 89 yards and a score, while also throwing for 54 yards and 2 more touchdowns. His backfield-mate Tristan Jett was also effective, rushing for 114 yards and 2 touchdowns. Tayehari Jones led Union City with 101 yards and a touchdown.

– In a back and forth duel, it was the Memphis visitors making enough plays late to knock off a stout Patriot squad. The lone difference in the first half was a Jaguar missed PAT, as the two teams each scored twice with Henry County holding a 14-13 lead. Henry County missed a Field Goal late in the 1st half, followed by a Southwind miss to start the 2nd. Caden Marshall scored with 9:19 to play to give the Patriots an 8 point advantage but the Jaguars came right back to score and tie the game with a 2 point play. The Patriots turn it over on downs on their own 41 and the Jaguars found the winning score with 2:25 to play. Caden Marshall rushed for 109 yards and threw for 89, accounting for all 3 Patriot scores.
