MARTIN, Tenn. — A familiar face will be returning to the Westview sidelines this fall. Monday afternoon the school announced the hiring of Matt McConnell as the next head football coach of the Chargers.
McConnell returns to Martin after serving as the lead man back in 2019, reaching the Class 3A postseason with a 6-5 record.
Along with Westview, McConnell has spent time coaching high school football at Waverly and Camden.
