SAVANNAH, Tenn. — Hardin County High School concluded their search for a head football coach Monday afternoon. According to Hardin County Athletic Director Matthew Smith, Alex Seaton has been named the next head coach of the Tigers.

Seaton previously served as the program’s offensive coordinator, helping lead Hardin County to 8 straight Class 4A playoff appearances.

“Coach Seaton has a great passion for Hardin County High School and Hardin County Football,” said Smith. “He is committed and will work extremely hard to give his very best to the players, the football program, the school, and community. He will have high expectations for his student-athletes to give their very best in the classroom and on the field.”

Seaton takes over a Hardin County program that finished the 2023 season with an 11-1 record, completing the first undefeated regular season in school history.
