JACKSON, Tenn. – The Lane College women’s basketball team hosted Miles College on Monday night inside JF Lane Gymnasium. The Dragons closed out the regular season with a blowout win over the number one team in the SIAC West.
It was a bell-to-bell victory as Lane scored the opening bucket and never surrendered the lead to the Golden Bears.
Senior forward Brailyn Tate led the way for the hosts, scoring 24 points and pulling down six rebounds.
Taylor Lattimore and Dyani Bernstine added 20 points each while Bernstine had a game-high eight rebounds.
After the game, the team honored seniors Brailyn Tate, Tamia Curry, and Keiyanna Greer.
Lane awaits final seeding for the SIAC Championship Tournament. The event will be held in Savannah, Ga. from March 3rd to March 9th.
