JACKSON, Tenn. – Freshman guard Courtney Zensen earns Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week.
Zensen helped propel Union to a 2-0 record last weekend after recording averages of 10 points on 50 percent shooting, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game in wins over Alabama Huntsville and West Alabama. The freshman knocked down four triples over the week at a 36 percent clip.
Zensen and the Lady Bulldogs will be back in action at the Fred DeLay Gymnasium on Thursday, Feb. 29 versus Lee University. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. General admission is free courtesy of FirstBank
