JACKSON, Tenn. – Union’s Eli Snelson earned his first GSC Pitcher of the Week honor after he allowed just a run over nine innings pitched versus the University of Montevallo.
Snelson notched his fourth win of the season last week as Union defeated Montevallo, 2-1. The right-handed Junior out of Hartselle, Ala. allowed just one run on three hits while striking out eight Montevallo batters.
Union will look to keep their momentum going in a midweek match-up with Arkansas Tech University today at 3:00 p.m.
