JACKSON, Tenn. – Gray Campbell and JJ Zimmer of the men’s golf program both were named First Team All-GSC for their play over the course of the 2023-24 season.
Campbell, a Junior out of Humboldt, Tenn., was also named GSC Golfer of the Week once back in September. Campbell finished inside the top-10 six times individually including a top-5 finish at the GSC Championships last week. He was recognized as All-Tournament after shooting 3-over par in Valdosta, Ga. to propel Union to a third place finish.
Zimmer, a Junior out of Jackson, Tenn., finished the season with four top-15 finishes for the Bulldogs. Last week during the GSC Championships, Zimmer finished tied for sixth place after shooting 4-over par, helping Union to its first ever NCAA DII National Championships birth.
The NCAA DII National Championships are set to begin on May 9th in Gainsville, Ga. It is a three-day long tournament that grants an opportunity for Union to compete for its first DII Men’s Golf National Championship.
