JACKSON, Tenn. – Brooklyn Verdugo of the Union University women’s golf team was named Second Team All-GSC for her performance in the 2023-24 season.
Verdugo, a 5-foot-3 sophomore from La Habra, Calif., was named GSC Golfer of the Week on Feb. 25. She had a T2 finish at the Music City Invitational on Oct. 30-31 and was named All-Tournament. She also had a T4 finish at the Lincoln Memorial University Invitational on Feb. 12-13 and was All-Tournament.
Verdugo and the Lady Bulldogs ended their season on Apr. 24 with a seventh-place finish at the GSC Championships in Valdosta, Ga.
