LIVINGSTON, Ala. – On Oct. 18, the Union University volleyball team faced the University of West Alabama on the road and won 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-18). With the win, the Lady Bulldogs improve to 5-12 overall (3-5 GSC), while the Tigers fall to 2-17 overall (0-9 GSC).
Dylan Tolliver led the team in digs with 12 and tied Hope Harrington for the most aces with two apiece. Ashley Pruitt collected 19 assists to lead the Lady Bulldogs in that category. Reese Owens had the most kills with seven, followed by Sydney Whittaker with five and Vanja Stefanovic with four. Jordan Moore put up the most blocks with three.
Up next, Union looks to finish out their road trip with a win against Mississippi College. The match will be played on Oct. 19 at 2:00 p.m.
