The Sports731 Network is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Josh Greer as its new Westview Color Commentator. With a dynamic background in sports journalism, coaching and higher education, Greer brings a unique perspective to game analysis that aligns perfectly with West Tennessee’s rich athletic heritage.
A Paris native, Greer currently contributes to Sports Illustrated as a multimedia sports journalist covering the University of Tennessee. He also serves as a Sports Management Professor and Program Director at Cumberland University. Before moving into higher education and journalism, Greer coached high school football at Henry County High School and Dresden High School.
“Josh’s extensive experience in both coaching and media makes him an ideal addition to the Sports731 team,” said Rusty Ellis, Sports Director for the Sports731 Network. “He understands the game, the culture and the people of this region. We’re thrilled to bring that level of insight and energy to our coverage.”
“I’m excited to join a team that values local sports and community connections,” said Greer. “West Tennessee has a deep passion for high school football, and I can’t wait to get started and be part of telling those stories on Friday nights.”
